Checked out the Concours d’Elegance last weekend at Marina Mall. They had beautiful cars! These were my faves!

Ron Jon Surf Shop - Kuwait?

I was at the Avenues the other day and noticed this sticker in the parking lot by IKEA. I was like, what the?! Ron Jon is a surf shop in the US... what's it doing at a parking lot in Kuwait? Is this a prank or one of Al Shaya's hype gimmicks?

Free Nokia Navigation

Nokia just announced that they're providing free lifetime navigation licenses on their newest line-up of GPS enabled phones, and luckily the N97 mini is one of them! I don't really need GPS here in Kuwait but it'll definitely be useful when I head to the US in a couple of weeks. Suck on that iPhone! :P

Double it!

I just renewed my DSL connection at home... I just realized that every year I'm paying almost the same but am always getting double the speed. I'm now at 2Mbps! Can't wait till next year :P

Where did Wilson go?

I was browsing the net the other day when I came across a link to the 10 Best TV Neighbors and there he was Wilson from Home Improvement. I love that show... it brings back such great childhood memories.

From that post I found out that Wilson (Earl Hindman) had passed away in 2003 from lung cancer. I had no idea... TV lost one of its best neighbors :( May he rest in peace.

The No Boundaries Mystery

I FINALLY figured it out!! Every time I'm listening to Radio Kuwait and No Boundaries by Kriss Allen comes on, the song plays from start to finish then another song starts. Nothing unusual there... but suddenly after that second song ends, here comes No Boundaries again!! I've always assumed it was an extended version of the song and Radio Kuwait just plays a completely different song in the middle... but it's actually No Boundaries by Adam Lambert! I don't know what's more gay, both of them singing the same song or 99.7 playing them a song apart all the time :P

JibJab are awesome!

1 week after new year, I discover the JibJab video for 09... I really love their work.

UPDATE: Apparently the last one I had seen was 2006's Nuckin' Futs... I checked out 2007 and 2008's videos, and they both sucked! I haven't missed much! :D

I could sit here and blog about how shitty 2009 was but I'll spare you from that. I'm not gonna blog about my new year resolutions either because I have none. The point of this post is to just fill some space so this could be my 1st post of 2010. Here's to a great 2010!
